Thanksgiving Turkey Deposit - On-Farm Pickup SUNDAY 11/19
$This is a 25 deposit to be deducted from final turkey price of $6.75/lb. with the balance due at pickup.
This Turkey will be available for pickup at ShireFolk Farm (10099 West River Rd. Palmyra, VA 22963) between the hours of 1PM and 3PM on Sunday, November 18th (the Sunday before Thanksgiving). This beautiful, thoughtfully raised and humanely harvested turkey will be fresh, never frozen, and will include a package of neck and giblets. The weight of the neck and giblets typically totals around 1 lb, so consider that in your size selection.
Select your requested size from dropdown menu. We do our best to honor all size requests, and we cannot guarantee that our birds will grow exactly as we have preordained on these electronic forms. Nature is nature! Highly variable!
Big 'ol Birds - We have removed the "huge" category because (with the exception of last year) we typically have very few "huge" turkeys (over 21 lbs). Those available will be doled out on a first reserved, first received basis. If you're looking for the huge size, just reserve the large and make a note of it in the "specific size request" field. If you require a huge bird for a large crowd, consider 2 small or medium birds - they're easier to handle, cook faster, and you get twice the legs! We will also have limited turkey breasts available a la carte, and a large bird with an extra breast roasted on the side usually gets the job done. If you'd like that option, please make a note of how many breasts. They're typically 1.5 - 2.25lb, and they're $16/lb.
